Board of Directors
SMEMPS is overseen by a Board of Directors representing its three member agencies: the Tiburon Fire Protection District, the Southern Marin Fire Protection District, and the County of Marin. Each member agency appoints one Director and one Alternate. The Board's work is guided by recommendations from the fire chiefs of the member agencies.
The Board meets on the third Tuesday of February, May, June, and November at 1:00PM at 1679 Tiburon Blvd., Tiburon, CA 94920. Meetings are open to the public. Meeting locations and any changes are posted on each meeting agenda. Agendas are posted 72 hours in advance of meetings. Special or emergency meetings may be called in accordance with the Brown Act.
